Fmr. U.S. Navy intel officer Malcolm Nance lays out the military reality that has zero diplomatic cushion:
America has reached the absolute limits of both air and sea power against Iran, the naval campaign was an afterthought from Day 1, and the political will to absorb casualties does not exist for this White House.

Iran's demands, meanwhile, are maximalist: fees 500x higher than any other strait, reparations for two wars, all sanctions lifted, U.S. forces out of the region, and Gaza.
Nance says that's exactly what a side that knows it has America over a barrel looks like.
As far as Israel is concerned, the diesel subs are out of port, Netanyahu personally visited the Dimona nuclear facility, and Iran already fired ballistic missiles at villages near Dimona as a DIRECT warning.
ANY Israeli nuclear strike would trigger the largest global disarmament campaign in history... and make Israel a permanent pariah, if it isn't already one.
Netanyahu is checking whether the keys still work...
