🇺🇸🇮🇷 Iran just put a $30K bounty on U.S. troops, dead or alive, doubling the reward if a woman makes the kill, and offering to buy the weapon used at twice its value.
Iran's Army chief Major Gen. Hatami followed that up with a statement that leaves little room for interpretation:
"The expulsion of the United States has been carried out. They are no longer permitted to enter the Persian Gulf, the Sea of Oman, or the Strait of Hormuz."
A country issuing battlefield bounties and declaring U.S. forces permanently expelled from the region isn't signaling a return to the negotiating table anytime soon.
CENTCOM Cmdr. Brad Cooper is reportedly in Israel advocating for continued military action, described by one source as essentially functioning as an IDF commander who happens to wear an American uniform.
Gen. Keane, one of the few remaining voices of restraint inside the Pentagon, is said to be increasingly frustrated and losing influence over a process moving rapidly toward further escalation.
Trump is believed to be considering a ground assault on one of Iran's Gulf islands after the midterms, and the military leadership that might pump the brakes appears to be running out of road.
On the broader strategic picture, America has lost Afghanistan, Iraq, and is now likely losing Iran, driven in each case by the same foreign policy establishment now eyeing Russia and China as the next frontier.
"What's left is great power war. God help us."
The trend line is not working in America's favor, and Washington does not appear to have noticed...
